We provide a comprehensive solar panel service, from design through to the PV panel system installation and solar energy battery storage integration, to help maximise your investment.
Whether it's a solar panel energy generation system for a home, or a full commercial scale design and integration, commission and ongoing cyclic M & E service project - we will deliver a range of solar energy services tailored to your needs. We will ensure that the system remains working efficiently and effectively and look for as short a period as possible for your return on investment.
Our prices make it affordable for you to generate, use, save and sell your own energy too ! Look at the example below, we currently offer :
... A 3.2kw Trina solar PV panel system from £5400
... With a solar energy battery storage system from £9995
... Add a solar iboost water heating diverter from £595
All prices quoted are as supplied and installed. Panels include a 15 year warranty.
From April 2022 to 2027, solar panels are VAT exempt to homeowner purchases.
A solar panel installation on a typical residential roof can often be completed in one day. Slate roofs require more care to be taken so can take a little longer. It will take around 3-4 hours to install a battery to the solar PV panel system. The battery system is designed to be wall or ground mounted and is usually installed in the loft. For homes without a loft, we would provide alternative options, such as in a garage or under the stairs. Contact us to arrange a free solar panel survey
All solar panel energy storage system consists of a charger and battery. There is no 'one-size-fits-all' solution. The right choice for you will depend on your budget, space availability, lifestyle and house usage, solar output, and whether you want a back-up in a power cut or not.
Overall a battery investment makes sense as long as you make sufficient use of the energy stored and battery. This comes down to proper sizing (which we can help you with when purchasing from us) and understanding when to import energy when needed.

In essence - battery energy storage systems are considerably more advanced than the batteries you keep in your kitchen drawer or insert in your children’s toys. A battery storage system can be charged by electricity generated from renewable energy, like wind and solar power.
Solar energy systems that can store their own electricity have three main components:
Solar batteries typically last for 15 years and come with a 10-year warranty – though their capacity might decline in their later years. They have to perform repetitive, daily charging and draining cycles, and just like your phone’s battery, this eventually wears them out. Intelligent battery software uses algorithms to coordinate energy production and computerised control systems are used to decide when to store energy or to release it to the grid. Energy is released from the battery storage system during times of peak demand, keeping costs down and electricity flowing.
The battery size and its cost will depend on your current energy use and the size of any generation technologies you have installed. You may
also want to plan around future electricity use if you are intending to purchase an electric vehicle (EV) or heat your home with an air source heat pump.
As well as storing the electricity generated by your solar PV panels, a battery can also be used to store electricity bought from the grid at cheaper times of the day, with new smart dynamic tariffs that vary in price throughout the day. This can reduce your reliance on more expensive electricity during peak periods, with some tariffs even allowing you to ‘sell back’ during those periods. Most electricity storage systems also feature smart management capabilities, which allow you to track energy usage online or via an app on your smartphone.
If you already own solar panels at home, that’s not a problem; we can easily retrofit a solar battery to an existing solar PV system.
When the solar battery is installed, it must be either AC-coupled or DC-coupled, and this depends on the type of inverter that your solar panels are using. If your PV system has a microinverter, then the solar battery will have to be AC-coupled. This is the cheaper of the two options (as you won’t need to replace the inverter), and the installation process is fairly quick. However, this solution does lead to additional energy loss over time, because it involves converting the solar-generated electricity twice. On the other hand, if you don’t have a microinverter, then you’ll need to replace your existing inverter with one that can work with your solar battery. This is more expensive up front (your whole system will need to be rewired), but it only involves converting the solar-generated electricity once, so there is less energy loss in the long term. We can help you work out exactly what size battery you need and whether it needs to be AC-coupled or DC-coupled.
We can help to assess your energy consumption profile, provide recommendations for the optimum system size to reduce your energy bills by the maximum amount that the roof space will allow, then design a solar panel system to your exact specifications. We’ll also run you through the benefits of buying solar panels in the present climate, as well as highlighting any issues you should be aware of from the beginning. Our consultation for solar panel installations can include option to install a battery and/or EV point as well. A survey will give estimated costs, savings and installation options without any commitment
We are qualified and certified to install renewable energy systems under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). We were infact among the first UK companies to hold MCS Certification and Registration, which means we are accredited to install renewable energy systems under the MCS Scheme, a quality assurance standard backed by the Government.
We are independently accredited by NIC EIC under the MCS scheme for the electrical design and installion of air and ground source heat pumps, solar PV and thermal panel systems and electrical energy storage systems.
We are further Trustmark Accredited which ensures Government endorsed quality for all works undertaken.
Our engineers hold a number of further, respected, specialist and often independently assessed industry accreditations - which also include assurances for consistent technical competence, safety and and management processes for all works undertaken.
We use the QualityMark Protection Scheme to back warranties on renewable energy heating systems.
